Over the past 6 years, the Manufacturing Growth Fund has already supported over 130 businesses with grants between £1,000 and £8,999 and helped to create over 150 jobs and generate over £7,000,000 worth of sales.
Grants are fixed at a 36% intervention rate and can contribute towards projects with a cost between £2,778 and £24,999.
High-value grants are extremely limited and would be expected to generate significant growth in these areas. An average project would typically cost between £10,000-15,000.
One application can be made per business, with grants available for purchasing new machinery and equipment, as well working with external consultants and specialists in the following areas:

All applications are subject to approval and will be evaluated individually on their ability to demonstrate growth potential through new job creation, improved productivity, increased sales and the development of new products.
